Description: Aramark has a homegrown system for managing customer incentives and use Cognos as the BI tool for reporting purposes. Description: Gallagher Bassett is implementing a project to upgrade their RIMS system, the data warehouse and business intelligence tool all together. The current RIMS system is about two decades old and the new system they are trying to implement is Luminos The project will upgrade data warehouse from SQL Server 2005 to Parallel Data Warehouse (PDW), and business intelligence tool from Cognos 10 to SSRS / PowerBI. New version of data warehouse, PDW, will provide much better performance for reports requiring massive amount of data and will slowly changing dimension capability for most dimensions.

  • To migrate Gallagher Bassett to SQL Server reporting solution, convert existing Cognos models and reports to SSRS and Power BI reports
